I have seen people say that they were friends before they dated, or that they were interested in each other in the fall of 2010 but *shrug*. They met via Jessica Szohr but no idea how or when. We know Dianna was also friends with Leighton at one point.
Rumor: Sebastian and Dianna make out on a rooftop in NYC. When??
February 2011, Alex Pettyfer threatens Sebastian at a West Hollywood club.
Dianna flees Alex in fear, checks herself into a hotel under a fake name.
April, 2011 Unsubstantiated Rumor: Dianna gets pregnant and terminates it because Glee won't give her time off or let her have a second pregnancy storyline. Alex goes crazy. (this could've happened at any time in the previous months)
May 28th 2011Sebastian comes to see Dianna's Glee show
June 11th 2011 the Likes Girls t shirt incident
July 5th spotted kissing in NYC.
July 15/16 2011 Sebastian and Dianna are papped leaving his apartment in the morning, both with serious sex hair. She's wearing the same dress she wore on Glee. She looks pretty satisfied.
July 19th..ish 2011: Sebastian is asked at a Captain America premiere about rumors he's dating Dianna. He replies with a smile and "no comment". Even though she was his DATE.
August 13th: Dianna and Seb are papped at a gas station on their way to the annual pool party of a director friend.They appear to be having some sort of discussion or argument, and then Dianna pumps the gas while Sebastian changes into his swimsuit in the gas station bathroom. This happens on his birthday. She tweets about the party
Sebastian and Dianna get into several fights on Facebook over him being too friendly with female fans. This may not have really happened. A fan reported that she remembered this, and other fans claimed she must be wrong because her timing allegedly didn't line up. They said she had accidentally followed a role player. While her timing sounds like it might've been...off, and there's absolutely a fake twitter account claiming to be Seb that's been around for a few months that's actually fooled people he knows in RL...including being able to get photos of Sebastian on a closed set. But as an experienced Sebastian roleplayer, I have learned that it's nearly impossible to get a chance to play any real life relationship of his. If it was fake, he wouldn't have been dating Dianna, Dianna would've been with Mark Salling, Chord Overstreet, Alex Pettyfer or having a secret affair with Lea Michele. Sebastian unfollowed all the women he'd friended, which he wouldn't have done if it was fake because a fake account wants readers, a real account wants privacy.
This is also not the first time someone's said that Sebastian used to post on Facebook. There was the rumor that he and Leighton had been planning an engagement, and the rumor that he trashed Steven Strait, calling him "such a diva".
Currently, Sebastian says he has no social media accounts except for Instagram. Dianna is on Twitter, so there may be old tweets about stuff but I'm not looking right now.
Dianna makes a gushing post about love on her Tumblr. I have no link to this, although I've seen some quotes.
December- They break up somewhere around the 9th, or at least, that's when they announced it. On the 13th, the Achele forum on LChat/Zetaboards, which contains a couple of years worth of discussion of Dianna's love life, is deleted by accident. It appears that it's the only board that went down. Dianna closes her personal Tumblr and premieres You,Me & Charlie shortly after. Nothing about this timing is at all suspicious.
Gossip columnists predict a Stangron reconciliation over Christmas. I keep picturing Christmas as being the time of the official breakup, because a really good dramatic ending to a relationship is good to contrast against the atmosphere of Christmas. But they did apparently meet for drinks in NYC.
February 14th 2012 They spend Valentines Day together. This time they both notice that they're being photographed. Seb would've been working on Political Animals and Once around this time.
Note: Even though the article says they "shared a steamy kiss", there is no such kiss in the photos, it's a friendly peck on the cheek.

Feb 27, 2012, They dance together at an Oscars party hosted by Elton John. There are pictures of their outfits I could post later if it matters.
They are rumored to be planning on spending the summer filming a movie together . But this movie was never actually filmed. There's an IMDB page for it, that claims it's coming out in 2014, with all the actors still attached except for Sebastian. This movie may not be real, or maybe Seb just dropped out because of A) Dianna or B) his career took off in such a way that he no longer had to take whatever jobs he could get.
July 4th, 2012 Sebastian finds out that the title of the next Cap movie is Captain America: the Winter Soldier
August 2012: By the fall, news is quietly starting to spread that Sebastian and Jennifer Morrison are dating. It says in that article that they had been together four months already so it really started in May?
Jen is flying to NYC every weekend.
Jen and Seb attend the Met Gala, and the premiere of The Great Gatsby as an official couple.
Jen attends several performances of Sebastian's play, Picnic.
Sebastian starts filming Winter Soldier and their relationship becomes harder to maintain.
The Comic Con incident. Jen is accused of being homophobic and sent hate mail (possibly including alleged death threats) for stating that she isn't interested in Swan Queen and has not been playing her character with that in mind. She arrived at the con before Sebastian and the two are not seen together much although they do attend each other's panels. Someone gets video footage of their arrival in a freight elevator ( Sebastian has to be sneaked in, in order to maintain the level of secrecy Marvel wants) and their interaction seems strained.
There are pregnancy rumors, and proposal rumors.
In November, Jen announces the breakup. Her people say it happened "four months ago", which makes people guess it must've been just before, during, or just after, Comic Con.
Also, tinhat Achele shippers have made their own timelines which could be useful in their own way.
