Margarita got a new gig and Seb apparently sent her flowers on her first day. She posted a picture of them and he liked it.

I love their chosen method for expressing affection in public, they do it over Instagram. They don't talk about being together, they just post pictures that hint at it, with little to no commentary. It's this discreet, silent love story illustrated via photos. And they're totally in control of how and when they release information, instead of being totally out there OR paranoid and secretive.

That is so cute. I think whoever we end up going with, I'd like to incorporate something like that as part of just how they are. Wasn't he - vaguely at least - like that with Di and Jen too?

Yeah, he got burned with Leighton, he got super private after that. Someone I know who met him and Jen says that Jen told her not to take a picture of them (Seb and Jen) together. And they kept people from finding out for months before they admitted they were together. And that's why I don't think he was dating Dianna for the publicity, if anything, he was going out of his way to keep it quiet. Most of the pics of them are either clearly private photos or ones they didn't know were being taken.

Which I can see happening, definitely. I remember that with Jen, also. *nod* The second thing - having pictures taken that they don't know about - I disapprove of people doing but don't let that stop me from looking. Mostly because I usually do image searches on google so I usually don't know the context.

Would be better if people didn't post pictures they took without permission but you can't take information back once it's out there. It's a conundrum, as a fan fic writer. Those pictures possibly communicate a lot about Seb's relationship with Dianna. :\

That's it, really. It is a conundrum, but I figure that there's a line and that's kind of where it blurs - if it's out there, it can't be helped, and while I will rarely - I won't say never - look at things I know weren't posted with permission, I can't help it if I don't know. Exactly.

Oh! I think they are pretty confirmed, which is nice. I was also amused as I went over to IMDB to see if there was any confirmation (none there, at least on Margarita's board), and I always look to see who the users think people look like - some I find ridiculous and others I see why others see it but I don't or don't quite see it, and some I totally agree on (like everyone who agrees with me that Burn Gorman looks like Willem Dafoe). Anyway, someone said that they thought Margarita looks like Eliza Dushku, and I semi-agree, not exactly but I see the resemblance. The funny thing is, back when I was watching early Gossip Girl, I thought Leighton looked occasionally similar to Eliza too. So another way we could say Seb sort of has a type.

I may or may not be thinking about Bucky/Faith now.

Yeah, she does look a little like Eliza but she definitely comes off as some sort of composite of his exes.

I think it could be interesting. The whole redemption thing would be a good hook.

I am also determinedly not contemplating Eliza/Seb. Not because I can't see it but I don't need one more option at this point...

Though I admit, given he's doing a movie with her (and her daughter as well) I have added Meryl Streep to the list of older women he might enjoy domming him.

Oooh. I don't hate that idea. At all. It could be a just for fun kind of thing.

I don't either obviously. I could see it being more in the right circumstances too, but certainly a one off or set fling at least.

I also have this vision of him and Dominic Cooper talking about her and thinking it would be great but didn't happen or wasn't long enough for either.

I feel like he'd relax and maybe more easily accept someone older taking the dominant role, at least initially. Less baggage to get around, maybe.

Maybe a little burned out on newbies, too.

And I think he's good with older women, I bet they like him a lot.

Speaking tangentially of people related by acting to both Meryl and Seb (more so Chris), I just found out that Stanley Tucci is only 54. I had the impression he was older. Possibly the baldness and his usual character type make him seem older than he is.

They can do mommy!kink, or rich older lady& gigolo, all sorts ofthings.

Yes, I think it's the baldness. And as a character actor, he's probably been playing older for longer than he's been older, he just has that look.

I know! Even play with characters of both - some people I can see really liking roleplaying as their characters and some just wouldn't, in my head. It's not even to do with the 'type' of character, some just feel right doing it and others don't. I mean, even some non-actors would do that kind of thing, take on an established character in fantasy play.

I think it has to be, honestly. He is such a good actor too. I loved his character in Captain America.

Ever since i read that Seb and Leighton liked to pretend to meet as strangers in public, I've thought it would be fun to write that. Like a "stranger meets a prostitute in a hotel bar" type roleplay scenario.

Ooh. I like that. In general and as a scenario.

Also am trying to make a new post on my journal for some more discussion but the new posting interface is being weird :(
