How exactly does her behavior reflect on her Dominant if nobody is supposed to know they're into BDSM?
While it makes sense that Christian Grey's girlfriend would need to be well groomed, fashionable, poised, polite and appropriate, vanilla people don't care how good a sub she is. Not knowing that Christian and Ana are into BDSM, they'd actually find a man who had behavioral standards for his girlfriend kinda creepy (and if they didn't, they'd be creeps themselves).
They don't go to any munches, or play parties, festivals or conventions where there would be other BDSM couples and people would actually judge Christian on his sub's behavior- not that anyone would, anyway, unless she was doing stuff that made it hard for other people to enjoy the event. Except for Elena The Statutory Rapist, and Whatsherface the Crazy Ex Sub, Christian doesn't interact with anyone else involved in the local BDSM scene- in fact, I'm not sure he has any actual friends of any orientation. His “friends” are Ana's friends or his brother's friends.
Despite his glamorous jet setting ways, I think he spends a lot of time alone or with people who aren't very close to him. ...Cause he's an unlikeable control freak.
