Randomly, I picked up a copy of the first Kushiel book at the thrift shop I work in one day a week. It's actually the most mainstream (well, not counting the Fifty Shades books) kinky thing I've seen there. The slightly disturbing part is that I have seen more than a few kinky and/or general erotic books there - I think some people thought the Black Lace books were just "sexy romance" Harlequin style though.

Oh and the Anne Rice Beauty books are... awful.
