According to this fan report, Seb broadcasts quite a subby vibe in face to face interaction with him. Like, I wondered sometimes if maybe it was just me, indulging my own taste, or that a lot of the sub/bottom headcanons people had were just based on slash cliches and/or their preference in Stucky fic, but both a fan who says she's very domme, and a fan who says she's very sub, both say, based on face to face interaction, there's almost no question about it.

I'd say it doesn't mean he's into any real kink, he might just be a vanilla bottom. Men can be that with women without anything kinky coming into play. It's just that the world is so fixated on Man Top! Woman Bottom! that they constantly fail to notice or acknowledge when a man in a fairly vanilla relationship might be the one doing the penetrating but he's not the one running the show in bed (or sometimes out of it as well). Even though everyone has met couples where that is clearly the case...

But then he went and made all those references to how much he enjoys handcuffs.

Oooh this is all very interesting.

I can't click the links (tried, not sure if it's the ancient browser here or the blocking - leaning to the first actually as I didn't try the more smutty ones) yet, but will.

Oh my god, yes. People just don't get it, do they? I mean some do, but... argh. Just argh.

Though my own preference for writing is kink being kept to the bedroom as much as possible, that doesn't work for every couple.

Like, I'm not going to try and claim He Is In Real Life but it's nice to hear these cute stories and know that if he WAS into kink that we'd be on the right track with preferred roles and stuff.

People just don't get it, do they?
"Ooh, she's the BOSS how kinky!" No, it's not, it's neccessarily kinky, it's just another combination of basic vanilla personalities. And putting his partner's needs before his own doesn't make a guy a sub. It makes him a good partner. Ugh. There's that age old problem, too, that some self identifying subby guys are actually super selfish and controlling so one does not always equal the other.
