Not quite gay cowboys, GAY COUNTRY SINGERS, which is close enough.
Well, one gay country singer anyway. I knew something was up with that guy. I wondered if maybe he'd end up hurting Scarlet after worming his way into their lives, or he'd get Gunnar involved in something dangerous, or, once he pointed out that Gunnar has just stolen his own dead brother's intellectual property that he might try to blackmail him, like what happened to Adrianna on 90210. Nope, he goes for the drunken kiss instead. Which I started realizing he could be going for by the time they were on the couch...but...
Look, I'm a veteran slasher at this point, going on fourteen years. And in all that time of seeing gay subtext flashing like neon at me and wanting, desperately hoping, two characters would naturally fall into something together, how often has it actually happened?
Not that often. Not without the incident being telegraphed from miles away for months.
So, TLDR, what I'm saying is, with all my slashing experience, I was still totally caught by surprise because I'm not used to being proven right.
Not that I'm complaining. It's an interesting road to go down. Nashville based country music is supposed to be a genre with a fanbase that ranges from moderately right leaning to hardline conservative, in the heart of the Bible Belt, etc. But in reality, lots of diverse people like country for their own reasons and this is bound to bring up interesting issues.
Long story short:

Will is comforting Gunnar and sitting way too close to them, and I started thinking, wouldn't it be awesome if they totally started making out? And then realized I've been on Tumblr a lot lately ...and then Will...
